For this course you will need:

Computer: Access to a computer with Internet – obviously :).

Domain Name: This is the address you type into a web browser so people can look at your website. You may already have one and if not don’t worry I’ll explain how to go about getting one.

Website Hosting With WordPress Installed: Hosting is where your website will live and the place you will set up your website. See the chapter Understanding Hosting. If you don’t have hosting we explain how to purchase website hosting with an easy one-click install for WordPress enabling you to start building your website straight away. If you already have hosting we explain how to install WordPress on your web hosts’ server.

Website Content: Your logo, images and text for your website – basically all of your website content – ok so you may want to do this as you go or may not have it all ready yet – that’s ok but might slow down your progress a little – no need to stress – sometimes it’s actually a good way to go about figuring our what you will put onto your site.
