Ok so you may not want other people to be able to see your site until it’s absolutely ready.

There are lots of free plugins that will help you do this and I’ve sourced a really simple one for you to use.

In your admin go to Plugins > Add New

In the Search field type type underconstruction as per below:

Click Install Now

Click Activate

Now go to Plugins > and click Settings under the underconstruction plugin.

Click On and then click Save Changes!

Now only a user logged into your website’s admin will be able to see the website – everyone else will be shown a simple under construction page.
